Subscription & billing

Billing & invoices

Your payment method, invoices, and billing history live in a secure billing portal, run for us by Stripe. We never store your card — it stays with Stripe.

Manage billing#

Open Settings → Billing and choose Manage billing. This opens your billing portal in your browser, where you can:

  • Update your payment method
  • View and download your invoices
  • See your full billing history
  • Update the billing name and address shown on your invoices

When you're done, return to the app — your subscription details refresh on their own.

Your card on file#

Once you're on a paid plan, Settings → Subscription shows the card we'll charge — its brand and last four digits and expiry, or the wallet name if you paid through Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link. Use Change next to it to jump straight into the portal and swap cards. A new card is picked up automatically for your next renewal.

Invoices#

Every charge — your monthly or yearly subscription and any credit top-up — generates an invoice. Stripe emails it to you and keeps a copy in the portal, where you can download any past invoice as a PDF whenever you need one for your records.

If a payment fails#

A renewal can fail for the usual reasons — an expired card, a bank decline. Stripe retries automatically over the following days, so a one-off hiccup usually sorts itself out. To fix it sooner, open Manage billing and update your card. If every retry fails, the subscription ends and your account drops to Pay-as-you-go — your balance and extra credits stay untouched.

Plans are managed in-app#

One thing the portal doesn't do: change your plan. Upgrades, downgrades, switching between monthly and yearly, and cancelling all happen inside the app, on the Managing subscriptions page — so the credit rules stay consistent.
